There are two kinds of logical progression which appear to characterize analytic expository genres in English.

1. Exploratory Essay
a. Introduction-State different opinions, assumptions, views
b. Development-Bring data (own experience/observation, researched information/quotes (cites) characters’ experience (in novel, etc.)), Inductive reasoning, proof 1-proof 2-proof 3, and
c. Conclusion-Logical conclusion which is Speculation (optional), Challenge to respond (optional), and Question (optional).

2. Argumentative Essay
a. Introduction-State your thesis (preposition, view, opinion)
b. Development-Bring Data (own experience/observation, researched information/quotes (cites) characters’ experience (in novel, etc.)), Deductive reasoning, sub-thesis/proof 1, sub-thesis/proof 2, sub-thesis/proof 3, and
c. Conclusion-Summary of proof Restate thesis which is Speculation (optional), Challenge to respond (optional), and Question (optional).

The similar of Exploratory Essay and Argumentative Essay is both of analytical which is Essay, assumption on Exploratory Essay and view on Argumentative Essay are using own experience/observation researched information/quotes (cites) character’s experiences (in Novel, etc.)

The difference of Exploratory Essay and Argumentative Essay are:
Explanatory Essay has different opinion with Argumentative Essay, Develop bring data is using inductive reasoning, which is meant literature review from specific to general and the conclusion is use Logical conclusion.

Essay is content 500 words, not always actual a case, contain person opinion, consist only simple topic, etc.
